Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Haroldo de Queirós kicked off to start the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Juninho Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Butantã MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juninho Aparecido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Haroldo de Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valério Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo de Queirós, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Luiz Paulo Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Valério Magalhães didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juninho Aparecido went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 33 minutes, Juninho Aparecido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo de Queirós in the 39th minute of play forced Real Sertões F.C's goalkeeper Valério Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês Dantas made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Toninho Cearense sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toninho Cearense got free with Juarês Dantas in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the game, Maurinho Aguiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Juarês Dantas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Toninho Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Toninho Cearense scored 3-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Juarês Dantas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juninho Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Valério Magalhães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Real Sertões F.C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Juarês Dantas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. 74 minutes into the match, Real Sertões F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo de Queirós came free, but Valério Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Juarês Dantas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Toninho Cearense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sertões F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Cearense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juarês Dantas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haroldo de Queirós blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valério Magalhães having to make a save. Juninho Aparecido took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valério Magalhães. Valério Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3.
