Vinícius Baiano started the match with the kick off. William Moraes came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rossensal's Wellington Rossi. But to his dismay, Wellington Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. William Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Rossi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Rossensal's Luisão Saraiva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. William Moraes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. David Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The supporters of Società Sportiva Savoia booed when Rossensal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Carlos Tróia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th match minute, Società Sportiva Savoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Gaspar to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute Wellington Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wellington Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half Rossensal were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wellington Rossi made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luisão Saraiva fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of William Moraes, passed just outside the right post. 52 minutes in the game, Wellington Rossi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 55th minute, Hugo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Società Sportiva Savoia's goal looked a bit too open when Luisão Saraiva came free, but William Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisão Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. William Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisão Saraiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Moraes having to interfere. William Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wellington Rossi's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. William Moraes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 71st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 74 minutes into the game, Ademir Custódio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rossensal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Società Sportiva Savoia the free kick. Ademir Custódio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Wellington Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wellington Rossis short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got William Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luisão Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. William Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 94th minute of the match Virgílio Gaspar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Virgílio Gaspar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Virgílio Gaspar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Società Sportiva Savoia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rossensal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
