Spectators: 7306 (Terracing: 5592, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) William Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Cearense in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Real Sertões F.C's goalkeeper Valério Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Terra. William Moraes came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Sertões F.C's Paulo José Amaral. But to his dismay, Paulo José Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Real Sertões F.C's Valério Magalhães got control of the ball when Claudinei Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Società Sportiva Savoia's William Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Amaral in the 13th minute of play. Virgílio Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. William Moraes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toninho Cearense in the 19th minute of play. Real Sertões F.C's Toninho Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the game, Virgílio Gaspar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Società Sportiva Savoia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Sertões F.C the free kick. After 22 played minutes Società Sportiva Savoia got a freekick which was hit by Virgílio Gaspar. Paulo José Amaral took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised William Moraes. William Moraes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Sertões F.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! Téo Cardoso walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 34 minutes into the game, Ernesto Cearense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Società Sportiva Savoia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Sertões F.C the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Società Sportiva Savoia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Cearense to maneuver through the defense. Ricardinho Rosado, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 36 played minutes Società Sportiva Savoia got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Cearense. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Società Sportiva Savoia's goalkeeper William Moraes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Toninho Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. William Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Paulo José Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Sertões F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo José Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toninho Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Paulo José Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Società Sportiva Savoia getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Olavo Motta hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinícius Baiano was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Società Sportiva Savoia's Téo Cardoso got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Valério Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Baiano in the 61st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo José Amaral in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Moraes saved Società Sportiva Savoia from getting behind. William Moraes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Toninho Cearense sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Maurinho Aguiar took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for William Moraes to make any attempt to save it. Real Sertões F.C's Toninho Cearense got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo José Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Moraes having to make a save. Toninho Cearense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but William Moraes made a huge save. Real Sertões F.C played a much better game than Società Sportiva Savoia and deserved their victory. The Società Sportiva Savoia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
