When Jerônimo Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the TaRaO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Zonta couldn't finish the play. Amauri Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severino Hoffmann in the 7th minute. The supporters of PapaXota booed when TaRaO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genílson Aparecido didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Eduard Ponomarev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When PapaXota's Rubens Viana in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TaRaO FC's goalie prevented a goal. 27 minutes into the game, Leonel Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PapaXota's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TaRaO FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in PapaXota fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The referee gave TaRaO FC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Olívio Mineiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of PapaXota's Amauri Neves. 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Leonel Leite put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of PapaXota:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of TaRaO FC:s goal. Amauri Neves went to the wrong direction when Olívio Mineiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 35 minutes into the game, TaRaO FC's Jerônimo Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Severino Hoffmann kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 44thth minute. Though ot was a great shot PapaXota's keeper Amauri Neves was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. PapaXota's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Jerônimo Zonta scored to the left of an out of position Amauri Neves, making the score, 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Hoffmann to strike the kick off in the second half. Luan Falcão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 51 minutes, Doriva Veloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PapaXota and the TaRaO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Doriva Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Amauri Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerônimo Zonta's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Jerônimo Zonta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Amauri Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Rubens Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Walmsley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Hoffmann in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind TaRaO FC's goalkeeper Denis Walmsley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, TaRaO FC's Jerônimo Zonta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amauri Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. 80 minutes into the match, TaRaO FC's goalkeeper Denis Walmsley had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rubens Viana. Denis Walmsley made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Rubens Viana sent off a good shot on target. Rubens Viana came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Denis Walmsley could save by the left post. Amauri Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Zonta in the 86th minute of play. Luan Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Severino Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
