The Coapoa SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Moura should have stopped the shot. Adalberto Moura didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 33rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Leão couldn't finish the play. When Edmílson Perez fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.E. Primeiro de Janeiro's protests and gave Edmílson Perez a yellow card for diving instead. Edmílson Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelson Linares's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Oliveira couldn't finish the play. S.E. Primeiro de Janeiro were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Coapoa SS for a fine match.
