Charles da Cunha was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 64th minute, Charles da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Esteves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Augusto da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Edgard Arruda's late challenge caught a Vai Dá Ruim's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. Ailton Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joélson Salles in the 82nd minute of the match. Adrianinho Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Esteves having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Edgard Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ailton Barrios was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Adrianinho Medeiros was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Vai Dá Ruim's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Adrianinho Medeiros in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilson Esteves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. SANTA LUZIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
