Ailton Barrios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the last second Ailton Barrios throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wasyl Lemiesz in the 12thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Wasyl Lemiesz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ailton Barrios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Adrianinho Medeiros hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Wasyl Lemiesz put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ailton Barrios. The Olimpia fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Olimpia's Wasyl Lemiesz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ailton Barrios was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Wasyl Lemiesz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wasyl Lemiesz really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Wasyl Lemiesz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ailton Barrios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Wasyl Lemiesz scored 9-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ailton Barrios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wambasther Navas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Zago in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Olimpia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avram Iordache to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th of the match, Pedro Augusto da Cunha tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Wambasther Navas got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a defensive mix-up in Vai Dá Ruim's zone, Wasyl Lemiesz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ailton Barrios came out of the goal and Wasyl Lemiesz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Wasyl Lemiesz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ailton Barrios was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Ailton Barrios came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia's Wasyl Lemiesz. But to his dismay, Wasyl Lemiesz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 84th minute Wasyl Lemiesz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ailton Barrios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wasyl Lemiesz took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ailton Barrios. Ailton Barrios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wasyl Lemiesz in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ailton Barrios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ailton Barrios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wasyl Lemiesz in the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Olimpia's Wasyl Lemiesz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ailton Barrios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. Olimpia walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
