The supporters of Marambaia FC booed when Gremio PortoAlegrense JA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osmar Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Evandro Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Cacá Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Marambaia FC's goalkeeper Erik Bastos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabrício Peixoto. Ulisses de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabrício Peixoto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Erik Bastos made a huge save. Cacá Albuquerque came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Marambaia FC's Narciso Capixaba. But to his dismay, Narciso Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Erik Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Peixoto in the 29th minute. Cacá Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro Domingues in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Evandro Domingues notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gremio PortoAlegrense JA's Cacá Albuquerque. Cacá Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evandro Domingues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cacá Albuquerque tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Domingues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Cacá Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cacá Albuquerque was a little too slow when Osvaldo de Barros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-3. Evandro Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses de Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Albuquerque having to interfere. Osmar Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evandro Domingues got free with Cacá Albuquerque in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the game, Marambaia FC's Ulisses de Lima nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cacá Albuquerque made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Cacá Albuquerque was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Narciso Capixaba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 75 minute of play. If Evandro Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Evandro Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marambaia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evandro Domingues was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jardel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Bastos having to interfere. Ulisses de Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Domingues in the 93rd minute of play forced Gremio PortoAlegrense JA's goalkeeper Cacá Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Marambaia FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gremio PortoAlegrense JA.
