Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Vaz got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute, Sílvio Luís de Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ibiracu's Artur Bezerra got a free kick in the 7th minute. MOCAMBINHENSE SA's Sílvio Luís de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Vaz in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of MOCAMBINHENSE SA booed when Ibiracu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ibiracu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Naldo Abraão hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Gabriel Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe Braga was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 25 minutes into the match. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MOCAMBINHENSE SA! Arthur de Lara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Ibiracu's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Pereira came free, but Ronaldão Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Bezerra hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Eurico Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. MOCAMBINHENSE SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Eurico Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldão Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Ibiracu's zone, Arthur de Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão Tinoco came out of the goal and Arthur de Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Luís de Souza struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ronaldão Tinoco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MOCAMBINHENSE SA. Arthur de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Tinoco having to interfere. Arthur de Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldão Tinoco having to make a save. Eurico Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Pereira's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Arthur de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MOCAMBINHENSE SA's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
