Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Saecinza's Gilberto Mineiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Damião during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Dida Moura came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Alhandra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dida Moura couldn't finish the play. Delfim de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Moura in the 8th minute of the match. The supporters of Alhandra booed when Saecinza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 12 played minutes Saecinza got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Mineiro. The crowd rose to their feet as Alhandra's Dida Moura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Delfim de Godoi. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. After 22 minutes, Amílton dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alhandra and the Saecinza players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Alhandra's Amílton dos Santos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Gilberto Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saecinza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute of the match Teodoro Eger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Gustavo Neto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Dida Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dida Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim de Godoi having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dida Moura to make the kick off. Dida Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes Saecinza got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Velasco. A collision led to Alhandra getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Nilton Cordeiro hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo José Damião could shoot a difficult shot in the 64th minute, which Luís Gustavo Neto however easily saved by the left post. If Dida Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeferson Peixoto's late challenge caught a Alhandra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeferson Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Saecinza's Jeferson Peixoto got a free kick in the 68th minute. When Alhandra's Dida Moura in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saecinza's goalie prevented a goal. When Manuel Velasco fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saecinza's protests and gave Manuel Velasco a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Saecinza's zone, Dida Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim de Godoi came out of the goal and Dida Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the match, Alhandra's Dida Moura sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim de Godoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Saecinza's zone, Dida Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim de Godoi came out of the goal and Dida Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilberto Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luís Gustavo Neto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Delfim de Godoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rodolfo de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Delfim de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute of the match Fabinho Lopez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delfim de Godoi skillfully saved the ball. Paulo José Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Neto having to interfere. Guto Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Paulo José Damião's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Luís Gustavo Neto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Dida Moura might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim de Godoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dida Moura ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Alhandra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
