Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilberto Mineiro got the match started through his kick off. In the 6th minute Gilberto Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Saecinza's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Duarte came free, but Delfim de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Azevedo in the 12th minute of play. Jeferson Peixoto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Breno Ceresso came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeferson Peixoto slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. After 19 played minutes Nazareno EC got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Catarinense. Breno Ceresso acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 20th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teodoro Eger. 24 minutes into the match, Nazareno EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Peixoto came free, but Breno Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilberto Mineiro hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Belmiro Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Nazareno EC's Edmundo Duarte made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim de Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Peixoto in the 36th minute of play forced Nazareno EC's goalkeeper Breno Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Delfim de Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nazareno EC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Osvaldo Aparecido hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the match, Paulo José Damião notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nazareno EC's Breno Ceresso. Breno Ceresso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Azevedo to make the kick off. In the 50th minute, Gilberto Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Carlos Bastos put his foot forward to block Saecinza from scoring but unfortunatly he hit the ball so badly that it rolled just inside the left pole, an annoying self made goal. 2-2 in the 52nd matchminute. In the 55th minute, Gilberto Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breno Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. If Paulo José Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vânderson Vinhas kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Nazareno EC's Delfim de Godoi threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Felipe Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 69 played minutes Saecinza got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Bastos. After 75 played minutes Saecinza got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Damião. In the 79th minute, Gilberto Mineiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Breno Ceresso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After a rather tough play, Saecinza's Paulo José Damião got a free kick in the 86th minute. Delfim de Godoi was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Felipe Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felipe Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 4-3. If Manuel Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 93 minutes into the match, Saecinza's Gilberto Mineiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Nazareno EC defense, Frederico Furlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Breno Ceresso. The Nazareno EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Breno Ceresso should have stopped the shot.
