The supporters of MOCAMBINHENSE SA booed when Jabuticaba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléberson Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute, Fellipe Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eurico Pereira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Gustavo Marinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Eurico Pereira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. Luiz Gustavo Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís de Souza in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luís de Souza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luiz Gustavo Marinho. Sílvio Luís de Souza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. With a little luck, Jabuticaba EC's Luiz Gustavo Marinho got control of the ball when Manuel Vaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Eurico Pereira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Luiz Gustavo Marinho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 29th minute, Cléberson Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute Eurico Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Catarinense scored 4-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Custódio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Neves to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luiz Gustavo Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Vaz in the 82nd minute of play. Jabuticaba EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-2. 91 minutes into the match, Manuel Vaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Gustavo Marinho. Jabuticaba EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Vaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-2. In the 95th minute Manuel Vaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MOCAMBINHENSE SA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
