Zeca Gad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto de Carvalho in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd match minute, Zoiudo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Proença to maneuver through the defense. Zeca Gad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michal Preisler, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gil Lopes charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gil Lopes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 36 played minutes Zoiudo got a freekick which was hit by Gil Lopes. After recieving a nice pass, Zoiudo's Claudinho Barros tried to score from far away in the 43rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Zeca Gad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Travassos in the 46th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Sílvio Travassos in the 47th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Zoiudo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dream Team RN - FDFDF were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Gil Lopes made the kick off in the second half. Augusto de Carvalho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Zeca Gad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 54 minutes, Tony Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zoiudo and the Dream Team RN - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tony Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, Zoiudo's goal looked a bit too open when Michal Preisler came free, but Zeca Gad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Vicente Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Lopes in the 56th minute of play. Gil Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Gil Lopes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zoiudo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Zoiudo's Zeca Gad got control of the ball when Augusto de Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto de Carvalhos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Zeca Gad to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dream Team RN - FDFDF's Alan Madureira was substituted for Cícero das Neves. The corner ended in Richard Donato almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zoiudo's Zeca Gad did a great save. Sílvio Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeca Gad having to interfere. 73 minutes in the game, Michal Preisler fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zeca Gad having to interfere. Michal Preisler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 79th minute of the match Gil Lopes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Gil Lopes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Gil Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Tony Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Cearense having to interfere. If Anísio Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Gad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeca Gad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Dream Team RN - FDFDF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dream Team RN - FDFDF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
