Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When Laerte Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ibiracu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Linhares couldn't finish the play. Luís Gustavo Neto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Dida Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Ibiracu's goalkeeper Ronaldão Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo de Almeida. 16 minutes into the game, Rodolfo de Almeida cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ronaldão Tinoco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 20 minutes into the game, Nilton Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhandra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibiracu the free kick. In the 21st minute, Naldo Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Luís Gustavo Neto. Alhandra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Dida Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Alhandra booed when Ibiracu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Moura didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Dida Moura took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ronaldão Tinoco to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Alhandra's zone, Naldo Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Gustavo Neto came out of the goal and Naldo Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
If Naldo Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldão Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Dida Moura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldão Tinoco having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Laerte Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luís Gustavo Neto. That made the score 2-2 in the 63 minute of play. Ronaldão Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodolfo de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Ibiracu's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Moura came free, but Ronaldão Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Laerte Linhares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Alhandra:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibiracu:s goal. Alhandra:s Luís Gustavo Neto showed great skill when he stopped Ian Passos:s penalty. Luís Gustavo Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Linhares in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Dida Moura was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alhandra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibiracu the free kick. Luís Gustavo Neto had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Laerte Linhares from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Naldo Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ibiracu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naldo Abraão couldn't finish the play. The Ibiracu players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alhandra from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
