Delfim de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Barral in the 52nd minute of play. Elano Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim de Godoi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Mineiro in the 58th minute of play forced Tapara EC's goalkeeper Mané Lucas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Mané Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elano Barral struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Delfim de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tapara EC. In the 67th match minute, Tapara EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Diniz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tapara EC's zone, Paulo José Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Lucas came out of the goal and Paulo José Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Elano Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delfim de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Barral in the 78th minute of the match. Faustão da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Tapara EC's Guto Sarmento in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Delfim de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Barral in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Gilberto Cearense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gilberto Cearense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tapara EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
