The referee ignored Zoiudo's protests and gave Virgílio Proença a yellow card for diving instead. Alhandra's Dida Moura managed to work through Zoiudo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dida Moura dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 21 minutes of play, Alhandra's Rodolfo de Almeida made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeca Gad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dida Moura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Zeca Gad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Zoiudo's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Moura came free, but Zeca Gad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo de Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Silveira hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Zeca Gad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Dida Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Lopes to strike the kick off in the second half. Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo de Almeida got free with Zeca Gad in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Dida Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Gad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeca Gad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dida Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Guto Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Dida Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca Gad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Rodolfo de Almeida scored 0-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeca Gad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Rodolfo de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Zoiudo's goal looked a bit too open when Dida Moura came free, but Zeca Gad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alhandra were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after Zoiudo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian de Senna took the corner. After taking down the ball on Alhandra's corner Christian de Senna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zeca Gad quite easily take care of the ball. Alhandra's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
