If Fabinho Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perivaldo Custódio had several of the Jabuticaba EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Luiz Gustavo Marinho as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 15thth minute of the game Fabinho Favoretto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartacus F.C.'s Wiliam Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roberto Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Amorim having to interfere. Ediberto Valle hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Perivaldo Custódio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Gustavo Marinho. That made the score 2-0 in the 26 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Monteiro in the 29th minute of play forced Jabuticaba EC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Jabuticaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Custódio came free, but Luiz Gustavo Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Spartacus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perivaldo Custódio to maneuver through the defense. When Ediberto Valle came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Spartacus F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ediberto Valle couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Perivaldo Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spartacus F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Perivaldo Custódio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perivaldo Custódio made a kick off. Roberto Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Gustavo Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Spartacus F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Jabuticaba EC a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roberto Neves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Spartacus F.C.'s Wiliam Amorim. 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Jabuticaba EC's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Valle came free, but Luiz Gustavo Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabinho Favoretto in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Perivaldo Custódio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Spartacus F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. In the 97th minute Perivaldo Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Gustavo Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wiliam Amorim having to interfere.
