Delfim de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 24 minutes into the match, Jaime de Queiroz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Saecinza's Delfim de Godoi. Delfim de Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delfim de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Soares in the 30th minute of play. Saecinza's Delfim de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime de Queiroz in the 34th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Jaime de Queiroz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Delfim de Godoi, passed just outside the right post. In the 63rd minute, Jaime de Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Saecinza's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime de Queiroz came free, but Delfim de Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caraguatei's Eliézer Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo José Damião in the 68th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, Caraguatei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Saecinza's Teodoro Eger got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo José Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliézer Pena having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Mineiro in the 83rd minute of play forced Caraguatei's goalkeeper Eliézer Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo José Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
