An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Cunha in the 5th minute of play forced Itajara AD's goalkeeper Lauro Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajara AD's goalkeeper Lauro Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Itajara AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Cunha came free, but Lauro Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Doriva Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lauro Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Léo Souza struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lauro Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristóvão Cunha in the 23rd minute of play. Cristóvão Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Lauro Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itajara AD's Lauro Leme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Cunha in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valentes de Davi F.C's Telmo de Andrade got a free kick in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Itajara AD defense, Cristóvão Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lauro Leme. The Itajara AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lauro Leme should have stopped the shot. Lauro Leme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristóvão Cunha in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Itajara AD's Natanael Domingues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ömür Akbaşak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 34 minutes, Telmo de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valentes de Davi F.C and the Itajara AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentes de Davi F.C's Ömür Akbaşak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Valentes de Davi F.C from getting a goal against them. Lauro Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Serafim Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Natanael Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ömür Akbaşak having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Valentes de Davi F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Capixaba came free, but Ömür Akbaşak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adam Ochabski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Leme having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Itajara AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Cunha came free, but Lauro Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristóvão Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Itajara AD's goalkeeper Lauro Leme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Oliveira. Valdir Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Serafim Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute of the match, Cristóvão Cunha tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lauro Leme saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Léo Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute of the match, Serafim Barreto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lauro Leme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 86th minute Cristóvão Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Leme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Itajara AD's Cipriano Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natanael Domingues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
