In the 25thth minute of the game Gonçalo Corrêa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prazeres EC's Váldson de Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Gwaan Rude Association's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Queirós came free, but Ezequiel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Edmílson Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gwaan Rude Association's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prazeres EC the free kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Luiz Macedo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gwaan Rude Association getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sílvio Luiz de Queirós hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Prazeres EC's Gonçalo Salgado got a free kick in the 66th minute. Prazeres EC's Váldson de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Corrêa in the 68th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Prazeres EC's Francisco Queirós made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ezequiel Alves was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Francisco Queirós took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ezequiel Alves to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Macedo in the 91st minute of play forced Gwaan Rude Association's goalkeeper Ezequiel Alves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Anísio Rosado fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gwaan Rude Association's protests and gave Anísio Rosado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Anísio Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Augusto Seco took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ezequiel Alves. Gwaan Rude Association's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Prazeres EC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gwaan Rude Association.
