Spectators: 7443 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cipriano Capixaba got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute Léo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Cipriano Capixaba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldão Viana. Parauapebas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Capixaba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Parauapebas's Ronaldão Viana got control of the ball when Cipriano Capixaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Itajara AD's Cipriano Capixaba got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Parauapebas's Ronaldão Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Souza in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Parauapebas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Furlan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Cipriano Capixaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itajara AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Capixaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was beautiful to see Parauapebas's Wilson Furlan in action when he in the 38th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 41st match minute, Parauapebas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás de Brito to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Jailson Gaúcho took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ronaldão Viana to make any attempt to save it.

The wind increased when Isac Măgură made the kick off in the second half. Lauro Leme made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Isac Măgură sent off a good shot on target. In the 62nd minute, Isac Măgură got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Itajara AD's Lauro Leme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Itajara AD from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Capixaba in the 67th minute of play forced Parauapebas's goalkeeper Ronaldão Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 minutes of play, Itajara AD's Cipriano Capixaba made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ronaldão Viana was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Cardoso hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Zé Pedro Moraes hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Isac Măgură's late challenge caught a Itajara AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Măgură helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Itajara AD's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Isac Măgură fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Isac Măgură had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Isac Măgură managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Zé Pedro Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Parauapebas's Ronaldão Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Souza in the 92nd minute of play. Isac Măgură was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Parauapebas's Isac Măgură got a free kick in the 97th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Itajara AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Parauapebas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
