Spectators: 7490 (Terracing: 5618, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cipriano Capixaba started the match with the kick off. Giuseppe Trevisan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lauro Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute Léo Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Delfim Vander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itajara AD's Lauro Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Gilson de Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, Itajara AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natanael Domingues to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Itajara AD got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Paraíba. A hard shot by Joaquim Torres from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Lauro Leme's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gilson de Mendonça who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Lauro Leme when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 36 minutes into the game, Gilson de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lauro Leme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Delfim Vanders short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Lauro Leme to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th match minute, Itajara AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense.

Joaquim Torres took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lauro Leme. Lauro Leme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gilson de Mendonça scored 3-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lauro Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 69 minutes, Aílton Paranaense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nazaro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aílton Paranaense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72ndth minute of the game Gilson de Mendonça who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itajara AD's Lauro Leme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lauro Leme came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Nazaro's Gilson de Mendonça. But to his dismay, Gilson de Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. If Paulo José Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Gilson de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nazaro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 86th minute of the match Nazaro got a corner. Itajara AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joaquim Torres ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89th minute of the match Severo Xabat shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lauro Leme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes Nazaro got a freekick which was hit by Gilson de Mendonça. There was no doubt that Nazaro were the better team. Nazaro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
