Ronaldão Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Macedo in the 3rd minute of the match. Kiko Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Prazeres EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiko Lima to maneuver through the defense. Luiz Macedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Wilson Furlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Prazeres EC's Luiz Macedo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ronaldão Viana. Ronaldão Viana yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With an all-out effort, Prazeres EC's Ronaldão Viana threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Macedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ronaldão Viana was a little too slow when Luiz Macedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 2-0. Marcelo Peixoto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Ronaldão Viana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 36 played minutes Prazeres EC got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Seco. Francisco Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldão Viana having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Parauapebas's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Macedo came free, but Ronaldão Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Prazeres EC booed when Parauapebas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Parauapebas's Rui Prado got a free kick in the 45th minute. A collision led to Parauapebas getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Murillo Leal hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Francisco Queirós scored 4-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Queirós in the 64th minute of play forced Parauapebas's goalkeeper Ronaldão Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldão Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Alagoano in the 67th minute of play. Prazeres EC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
