After having played for 16 minutes, Gonçalo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gwaan Rude Association's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fronteiro EC's Simão Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Corrêa in the 19th minute of play. Simão Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonçalo Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Fronteiro EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gonçalo Corrêa came free, but Simão Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matheus Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Gwaan Rude Association booed when Fronteiro EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson de Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sílvio Luiz de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Simão Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simão Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonçalo Corrêa in the 46th minute of play. If Gonçalo Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 58th minute, Jeferson de Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fronteiro EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Simão Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz de Queirós in the 62nd minute of play. Henrique Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fronteiro EC's Simão Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Luiz de Queirós in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonçalo Corrêa got free with Simão Valadares in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Fronteiro EC booed when Gwaan Rude Association was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Gonçalo Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simão Valadares. The goal made the score 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Sílvio Luiz de Queirós kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simão Valadares. That made the score 1-5 in the 87 minute of play. Simão Valadares didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 92nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-6. 95 minutes into the game, Gwaan Rude Association's Gonçalo Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Simão Valadares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-7.
