But to his dismay, Dalmo Falcão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Antônio Porto took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Simão Valadares to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antônio Porto in the 34th minute of play forced Fronteiro EC's goalkeeper Simão Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simão Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jeferson de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Perez having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Antônio Porto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Simão Valadares, 4-0. Simão Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmo Falcão, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

The supporters of Jemuz booed when Fronteiro EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chicão Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simão Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Porto in the 57th minute of the match. Simão Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emerson de Toledo was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th match minute, Fronteiro EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emerson de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. Jemuz's Antônio Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléberson Palmeira scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simão Valadares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Dalmo Falcão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simão Valadares. Fronteiro EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmo Falcão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 84th minute Kléberson Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simão Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simão Valadares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmo Falcão in the 86th minute of play. Jeferson de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Fronteiro EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo Falcão came free, but Simão Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jemuz had played much better football throughout.
