Itajara AD's Jailson Gaúcho suffered a concussion after 11 minutes and had to leave the field. Nilmar Sá charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nilmar Sá the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Itajara AD booed when BRAMBILLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. BRAMBILLA's Sandrinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Souza in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Cipriano Capixaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Sandrinho do Vale made a huge save.
