Guilherme Vieira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on Esporte Clube Vitória's corner Serafim do Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guilherme Vieira quite easily take care of the ball. Sputnik FC's Guilherme Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan Porto in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rômulo Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esporte Clube Vitória's Serafim do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guilherme Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio do Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Guilherme Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Porto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th of the match, Francisco da Costa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Antônio Paiva got in the way and made a wonderful save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

One of Sputnik FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esporte Clube Vitória:s goal. The goalkeeper, Guilherme Vieira, was totally fooled by Esporte Clube Vitória's Serafim do Valle, who 87 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Francisco da Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Esporte Clube Vitória's Márcio do Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guilherme Vieira. Guilherme Vieira yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. The Esporte Clube Vitória supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Esporte Clube Vitória would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
