With his leg Guilherme Vieira managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Umbrella Futebol Clube's Henrique Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Walmir Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Tróia in the 18th minute of play. Cipriano Damião made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Umbrella Futebol Clube's Glauco Quadros. Henrique Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Guilherme Vieira made a huge save. Walmir Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Emanuel Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmir Borges having to make a save. The supporters of Umbrella Futebol Clube booed when Sputnik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caco Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Guilherme Vieira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guilherme Vieira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henrique Andrade went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Noel de Lima hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Guilherme Vieira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Andrade in the 43rd minute. Noel de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Guilherme Vieira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walmir Borges showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Tróia to make the kick off. Guilherme Vieira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belmiro Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Sputnik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Belmiro Dantas came free, but Guilherme Vieira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Henrique Andrade sped through Sputnik FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guilherme Vieira. Sputnik FC's Guilherme Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Dantas in the 68th minute of play. Emanuel Tróia took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walmir Borges. Walmir Borges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Walmir Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco da Costa in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Noel de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guilherme Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Henrique Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guilherme Vieira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 85th minute, Gernando Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Henrique Andrade in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Vieira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Andrade in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guilherme Vieira saved Sputnik FC from getting behind. 89 minutes into the game, Umbrella Futebol Clube's Henrique Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guilherme Vieira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Henrique Andrade scored 5-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guilherme Vieira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Glauco Quadros hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
