Luisão Soeiro hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Abduzidos F. C.'s Liu Lin Bang couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 5th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for COLUMBUS CREW BR. After having played for 8 minutes, Liu Lin Bang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abduzidos F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Lin Bang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdemar de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, COLUMBUS CREW BR's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Lin Bang came free, but Mário Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdemar de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mário Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 19 minutes, Liu Lin Bang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abduzidos F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Liu Lin Bang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastião Vander took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário Matos. Mário Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Ahmet Yahya Sökmener hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. COLUMBUS CREW BR's Celso Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Furtado during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 46 minutes into the match, COLUMBUS CREW BR's goal looked a bit too open when Liu Lin Bang came free, but Mário Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Abduzidos F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Liu Lin Bang.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valdemar de Godoi made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in COLUMBUS CREW BR's zone, Liu Lin Bang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mário Matos came out of the goal and Liu Lin Bang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horácio Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Neiva having to interfere. Liu Lin Bang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th match minute, COLUMBUS CREW BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Melo to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastião Vander got free with Mário Matos in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mário Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Lin Bang in the 69th minute of play. Valdemar de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to COLUMBUS CREW BR getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Enrique Baiano hit a great ball. If Ahmet Yahya Sökmener had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldinho Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, COLUMBUS CREW BR's Osvaldinho Travassos got a free kick in the 86th minute. Liu Lin Bang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mário Matos came out and tried to block the shot, but Liu Lin Bang slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 91st minute. Abduzidos F. C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
