Basílio da Fonseca was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. When Gonçalo Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xuripa's protests and gave Gonçalo Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. The Xuripa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Umbrella Futebol Clube were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
