Matías Peixoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Cordeiro having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Olivedos F.C's Raúl Arruda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alexandre Cordeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Olivedos F.C booed when Orico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Raúl Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Olivedos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Arruda couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matías Peixoto in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexandre Cordeiro saved Orico from getting behind. Alexandre Cordeiro came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Olivedos F.C's Raúl Arruda. But to his dismay, Raúl Arruda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Orico's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Peixoto came free, but Alexandre Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Orico's Christiano Marquez got a free kick in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Orico's Cássio Mesquita got a free kick in the 93rd minute. If Matías Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Olivedos F.C were the better team. Olivedos F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
