After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Alfredão Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Recursolandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Matías Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th minute, Christiano Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esporte Clube Vitória's Antônio Paiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Dahmen in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Nico Dahmen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Antônio Paiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matías Matorin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Antônio Paiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christiano Meireles hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kauan Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Nico Dahmen could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-3 into the left cross.
