Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Durval Antunes started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute Enrique Baiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germano Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dráusio Queiroz during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 14 minutes into the match, COLUMBUS CREW BR's goal looked a bit too open when Durval Antunes came free, but Mário Matos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Salgado having to interfere. COLUMBUS CREW BR's Mário Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Antunes in the 18th minute of play. Celso Zanette blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Germano Salgado having to make a save. After 27 minutes of play, ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Romeu Pernambucano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mário Matos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Romeu Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Germano Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Durval Antunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mário Matos was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Romeu Pernambucano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisão Soeiro made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's Rodriguinho de Brito. In the 47thth minute of the game Durval Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but COLUMBUS CREW BR's Mário Matos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Germano Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edinho Melo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edinho Melo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. COLUMBUS CREW BR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Durval Antunes scored to the left of an out of position Mário Matos, making the score, 1-3. The supporters of ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB booed when COLUMBUS CREW BR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeu Pernambucano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mário Matos. That made the score 1-4 in the 71 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Roberto Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Maia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mário Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. COLUMBUS CREW BR's Dráusio Queiroz got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Dráusio Queiroz off the ground. Dráusio Queiroz hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Mário Matos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durval Antunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 91 minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Durval Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mário Matos. COLUMBUS CREW BR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. ZÜÒ.ÓÜZ FOOTBALL CLUB played a much better game than COLUMBUS CREW BR and deserved their victory. The COLUMBUS CREW BR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
