Spectators: 7523 (Terracing: 5643, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arí Chaves kicked off to start the match. After 2 minutes, Guilherme Lucas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jacarini and the Xeq Matt players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd match minute, Jacarini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Brodel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Toledo in the 11th minute of the match. Wilton Brodel came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Xeq Matt's Frédson Favoretto. But to his dismay, Frédson Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With his leg Wilton Brodel managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Xeq Matt's Frédson Favoretto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Xeq Matt's Nildo de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arí Chaves in the 35th minute of play. Armando Neto charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Neto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, Jacarini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Neto to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the match, Xeq Matt's Gildo Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilton Brodel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilton Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After a rather tough play, Xeq Matt's Anselmo Cavalcante got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute, Fellipe das Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Xeq Matt's Nildo de Queiroz didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gildo Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Nildo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Lucas in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Toledo in the 54th minute of play forced Jacarini's goalkeeper Wilton Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Xeq Matt's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Chaves came free, but Nildo de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd match minute, Jacarini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Neto to maneuver through the defense. Nildo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Neto in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Arí Chaves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Neto got free with Nildo de Queiroz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arí Chaves in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nildo de Queiroz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nildo de Queiroz made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Armando Neto sent off a good shot on target. Frédson Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Brodel having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Jacarini's Arí Chaves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacarini's Sílvio Luiz Bittencourt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nildo de Queiroz. That made the score 1-4 after 88 minutes of play. 93 minutes into the match, Jacarini's Sílvio Luiz Bittencourt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nildo de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nildo de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Bittencourt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nildo de Queiroz. Sílvio Luiz Bittencourt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5.
