Spectators: 7547 (Terracing: 5662, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gildo Toledo started the match with the kick off. When Gildo Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Xeq Matt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gildo Toledo couldn't finish the play. Frédson Favoretto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ronaldinho Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Meirelles took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo de Queiroz. Nildo de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Agostinho Meirelles sped through Xeq Matt's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nildo de Queiroz. In the 19th minute, Frédson Favoretto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Musquiada's Alfredo Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nildo de Queiroz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cleiton Bertassi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nildo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronaldinho Aguiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Lira in the 30th minute of the match. Nildo de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Bertassi in the 33rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gildo Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldinho Aguiar was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 35th minute of play forced Xeq Matt's goalkeeper Nildo de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Xeq Matt's Wesley Lira got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 39th minute, Agostinho Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Musquiada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Xeq Matt's Nildo de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Favoretto in the 46th minute of play. Nildo de Queiroz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Favoretto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Laerte Favoretto to make the kick off. Ronaldinho Aguiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gildo Toledo went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After having played for 56 minutes, Agostinho Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Musquiada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agostinho Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Musquiada's Laerte Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nildo de Queiroz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Nildo de Queiroz came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Musquiada's Cleiton Bertassi. But to his dismay, Cleiton Bertassi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. In the 71st match minute, Xeq Matt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. Laerte Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74th match minute, Musquiada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nildo de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Agostinho Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Musquiada's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the game, Laerte Favoretto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nildo de Queiroz. Laerte Favoretto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. After a rather tough play, Xeq Matt's Alessandro Viana got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 88 played minutes Musquiada got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Peixoto. After 91 played minutes, Xeq Matt's Wesley Lira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ronaldinho Aguiar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Xeq Matt reached it. A collision led to Xeq Matt getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Luisão Braga hit a great ball. With a little luck, Xeq Matt's Nildo de Queiroz got control of the ball when Cleiton Bertassi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Xeq Matt supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Musquiada's performance. The match ended with a win for Musquiada.
