When Lino Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the E.C. Paulistão fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Capixaba couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Paiva got free with Kauã Mineiro in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, estrela do norte ofc club's Kauã Mineiro got control of the ball when Luís Paiva tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Paiva in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kauã Mineiro saved estrela do norte ofc club from getting behind. After 16 minutes, Dráusio Loureiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Paulistão and the estrela do norte ofc club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráusio Loureiro hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Luís Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Luís Paiva took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Kauã Mineiro to make any attempt to save it. If Dráusio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. E.C. Paulistão's Luís Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 played minutes, estrela do norte ofc club's Fellipe Luz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnaldo Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in estrela do norte ofc club reached it. In the 37thth minute of the game Luís Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but estrela do norte ofc club's Kauã Mineiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in estrela do norte ofc club's zone, Luís Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kauã Mineiro came out of the goal and Luís Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. Lino Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 minutes, José Neiva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the E.C. Paulistão and the estrela do norte ofc club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Paiva to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Luís Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kauã Mineiro was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. 67 minutes into the game, Iuri Martins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. estrela do norte ofc club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E.C. Paulistão the free kick. In the 71st minute of the match José Neiva sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kauã Mineiro skillfully saved the ball. If Cleiton Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Cleiton Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the estrela do norte ofc club and the E.C. Paulistão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnaldo Catarinense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kauã Mineiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Capixaba went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the E.C. Paulistão players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
