Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arí Chaves made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Armando Neto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sérgio Paulista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arí Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tales Santos in the 21st minute of play. Arí Chaves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Paulista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Maratoneiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Leão to maneuver through the defense. If Tales Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Maratoneiro booed when Jacarini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walmyr Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Ferraz's late challenge caught a Maratoneiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jacarini fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! In the 31st minute, Maratoneiro got a penalty, and Diego Antunes placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Cauan Gonçalves hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 35th match minute, Maratoneiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Leão to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Arí Chaves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Paulista. Maratoneiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arí Chaves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Sérgio Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arí Chaves's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Armando Neto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sérgio Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Maratoneiro got a freekick which was hit by Cauan Gonçalves. In the 48thth minute of the game Arí Chaves who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maratoneiro's Sérgio Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

In the 58th match minute, Maratoneiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Leão to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe das Neves, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sérgio Paulista made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Armando Neto sent off a good shot on target. If Armando Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guilherme Lucas struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Sérgio Paulista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacarini. Wilton Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Sílvio Luís Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd play minute Armando Neto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Sérgio Paulista. 1-3. Armando Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walmyr Urbano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. If Tales Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Brodel having to interfere. When Armando Neto came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Jacarini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Neto couldn't finish the play.
