Elvis Tek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Cosme having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvis Tek got free with Elias Cosme in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Elvis Tek came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Arara azul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvis Tek couldn't finish the play. Manfredo Brodel looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Elias Cosme. Elvis Tek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Cosme having to interfere. Arara azul's João Adolfo Magalhães got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elias Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvis Tek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mazinho Arósio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Arara azul getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Edgar Sabóia hit a great ball. Zé Augusto Tande, 53 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Elias Cosme was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the game, Arara azul's Elvis Tek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Cosme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Wit Panasewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. João Adolfo Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Cosme having to make a save.
