In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind BRC WeeD DogS's goalkeeper Enio Passos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 18 minutes, Jorge Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Neymarinho and the BRC WeeD DogS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as BRC WeeD DogS's Eliézer Vidal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leopoldo da Mata. That made the score 2-0 after 30 minutes of play. Hortêncio Teles hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 35 minutes of play, BRC WeeD DogS's Benê de Barros made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leopoldo da Mata was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enio Passos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Maria de Amorim in the 39th minute of the match. Eliézer Vidal hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Maria de Amorim to make the kick off. José Maria de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Enio Passos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vito de Queiroz in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo da Mata saved Neymarinho from getting behind. Neymarinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Teles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaká Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Enio Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Maria de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The coaching staff of Neymarinho protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Armandinho Cunha had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 89th minute, one of Neymarinho:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Neymarinho. Leopoldo da Mata went to the wrong direction when Gualter Mota was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.
