Toto Arebam took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Panasewicz. Wit Panasewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Elvis Tek might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jakob Heinicke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elvis Tek ran back to his position shaking his head. Toto Arebam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wit Panasewicz having to interfere. Arara azul's Wit Panasewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Urtun in the 32nd minute of play. In the 40th minute, Astor Urtun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independência Futebol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Wit Panasewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicky Butt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Independência Futebol made a substitution. Chiquinho Vander replaced Zé Carlos Vaz. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elvis Tek was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Astor Urtun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wit Panasewicz. Astor Urtun in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wit Panasewicz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toto Arebam in the 76th minute of play forced Arara azul's goalkeeper Wit Panasewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes, Ronaldinho Gaúcho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independência Futebol and the Arara azul players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ronaldinho Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Toto Arebam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6.
