Estrela Azul FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Edu Reis scored to the left of an out of position Nicolas Loyola, making the score, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Cauan Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicolas Loyola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edu Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edu Reis to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Estrela Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Gaspar came free, but Nicolas Loyola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The S.E YAGOSHOW fans cheered their team off the field, for while Estrela Azul FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
