Agnaldo Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. If Walmyr Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Guto Duarte made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Walmyr Ferreira. Caio Britto made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Walmyr Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Walmyr Ferreira kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caio Britto. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Caio Britto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walmyr Ferreira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. When Fc canelas's Adalberto Zanette in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores de Savóia's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fc canelas's zone, Walmyr Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Britto came out of the goal and Walmyr Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Fc canelas's Adalberto Zanette in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores de Savóia's goalie prevented a goal. Geovânio Perez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 played minutes Fc canelas got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Perez. Léo Freitas hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match Tarcisio Botelho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caio Britto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Fc canelas's Adalberto Zanette sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natã Cavalcante narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fc canelas's Geovânio Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adalberto Zanette in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natã Cavalcante saved Defensores de Savóia from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walmyr Ferreira to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Defensores de Savóia's Arthur Pena made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio Britto was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Azevedo in the 60th minute of play forced Fc canelas's goalkeeper Caio Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã Cavalcante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adalberto Zanette showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 70 minute of play. 4-2 became the score in the 78th minute when Adalberto Zanette elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Geovânio Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Adalberto Zanette ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Cavalcante was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Many of Fc canelas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fc canelas may have spent more time on the ball, but Defensores de Savóia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
