The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match Moisés Lucas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elder Bastos skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, WoW FC's Iuri Cosme got a free kick in the 4th minute. With 6 minutes on the clock, Moisés Lucas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC:s Juninho Prata showed great skill when he stopped André Paiva:s penalty. Juninho Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nechifor Blajovici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the match, Jeferson Santana notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata. Juninho Prata was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 22 minutes into the game, Nechifor Blajovici cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Juninho Prata was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC defense, Jeferson Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juninho Prata. The Vasco Ji-Paraná FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juninho Prata should have stopped the shot. Nechifor Blajovici recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Santana came free, but Juninho Prata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35thth minute of the game Allan Reis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WoW FC's Elder Bastos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Celsinho de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 37 minutes into the game, Allan Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WoW FC the free kick. In the 37th minute, Allan Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celsinho de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Elder Bastos came out and tried to block the shot, but Celsinho de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Virginijus Odminas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WoW FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goalkeeper Juninho Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Santana. In the 53rd minute Allan Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Bastos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeferson Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Prata having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Iuri Cosme flew over the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Narciso Barbosa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave WoW FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Narciso Barbosa got a free kick in the 60th minute. Allan Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elder Bastos having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Celsinho de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vasco Ji-Paraná FC and the WoW FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 69th minute, Celsinho de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Evandro Jacinto threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Luizinho Pires quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 75 minutes into the match, Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's goalkeeper Juninho Prata had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by André Paiva. The supporters of Vasco Ji-Paraná FC booed when WoW FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rony Fontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeferson Santana got free with Juninho Prata in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nechifor Blajovici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Juninho Prata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Blajovici could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Juninho Prata made a huge save. Vasco Ji-Paraná FC's Juninho Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Vasco Ji-Paraná FC from getting a goal against them. When the match was over WoW FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Vasco Ji-Paraná FC throughout the match.
