Carlos Dante got a throw-in 21 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adilson Pitta. After 23 played minutes Fc canelas got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Marinho. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adilson Pitta in the 24th minute of play forced Fc canelas's goalkeeper Caio Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laerte Mandrak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Ademar Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Adilson Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fc canelas booed when Bahus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Fc canelas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bahus:s goal. Fc canelas were furious when Lino Pires was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Fc canelas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! The long shot by Luisinho Barros in the 74th minute really tested Caio Britto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Caio Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Adalberto Zanette managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc canelas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Zanette was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agnaldo Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ademar Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adilson Pitta got free with Caio Britto in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bahus's Ademar Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Meira in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Adalberto Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bahus's Diguinho Botelho couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fc canelas. Fc canelas's Adalberto Zanette managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Narciso Teixeira in the 99 minute of the game. Agnaldo Meira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Ademar Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahus's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
