After a rather tough play, Meninos do Morro F.C's Vladimir Cabral got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Guto Brandao recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurício Mandrak. Guto Brandao showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 34th minute, Angelo Freitas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Curucamba's Décio do Vale managed to work through Meninos do Morro F.C's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Décio do Vale dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a rather tough play, Meninos do Morro F.C's Eliseu Sanches got a free kick in the 45th minute.
