Marcelo Pitta struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. José Paulo Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tigres F.C. 16 minutes into the game, Tigres F.C's Erik Pombal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Paulo Cunha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Chiquinho Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.E YAGOSHOW's supporters rose to their feet, but Chiquinho Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Percy Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chiquinho Mesquita had several of the Tigres F.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Percy Recife as he didn't even see the shot coming. In a very dangerous position, a player in S.E YAGOSHOW fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tigres F.C a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Célio Costa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of S.E YAGOSHOW's José Paulo Cunha. 1-2. Diogo Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Pombal in the 42nd minute of play forced S.E YAGOSHOW's goalkeeper José Paulo Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelo Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiano Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Chiquinho Mesquita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Percy Recife was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Erik Pombal made the kick off in the second half. After 69 minutes of play, S.E YAGOSHOW's Norberto Gaspar made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Pitta got free with José Paulo Cunha in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Paulo Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Pombal in the 74th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chiquinho Mesquita in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Percy Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edu Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geovânio Rosa charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovânio Rosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Geovânio Rosa hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tigres F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
