Caio Britto came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Curucamba's Deivid Freitas. But to his dismay, Deivid Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Curucamba's Márcio Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Curucamba from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ricardo Leite hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Guto Brandao managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curucamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto Brandao was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Guto Brandao got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Raúl Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Britto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guto Brandao went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Adalberto Zanette kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Didi França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Curucamba's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Zanette came free, but Márcio Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Fc canelas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Pitta to maneuver through the defense. The Fc canelas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Curucamba were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Adalberto Zanette made the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Agnaldo Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Deivid Freitas put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Caio Britto. In the 62nd minute, Raúl Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hélder Vargas came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Curucamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hélder Vargas couldn't finish the play. The shot was stopped by Caio Britto but with some difficulty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adalberto Zanette in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Agnaldo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Curucamba were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Fc canelas's much stronger midfield.
