Spectators: 7534 (Terracing: 5652, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Augusto Pinheiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Hílton Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serginho Dracena made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Reinaldo Couto sent off a good shot on target. In the 6th match minute, Cubatão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Madureira to maneuver through the defense. Gerson Montenegro came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Cubatão FC's Augusto Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Augusto Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Vivaldo Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Renan Penha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerson Montenegro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vânderson Cosme in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serginho Dracena saved Cubatão FC from getting behind. In the 19th match minute, Cubatão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armandinho Dias to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, Cubatão FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Neto to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, Cubatão FC's goalkeeper Serginho Dracena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reinaldo Couto. Serginho Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hílton Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The supporters of Cubatão FC booed when Campestre AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Raimundo Madureira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Gerson Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vânderson Cosme to make the kick off. Raimundo Madureira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. The supporters of Campestre AC booed when Cubatão FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Baltazar Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cubatão FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serginho Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Cosme in the 64th minute of the match. A collision led to Campestre AC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Victor de Moraes hit a great ball. With a little luck, Campestre AC's Gerson Montenegro got control of the ball when Raimundo Madureira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerson Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Durvalino Vianna in the 78th minute of the match. Augusto Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerson Montenegro having to interfere. Cubatão FC's Serginho Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vânderson Cosme in the 89th minute of play. 94 minutes into the game, Augusto Pinheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerson Montenegro. Augusto Pinheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When the match was over Cubatão FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Campestre AC throughout the match.
