Tales Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Antônio Carlos da Fonseca had to leave the field with a concussion. Tales Cunha's late challenge caught a Besouro SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tales Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. Besouro SS made a substitution. Pedro Luís Barros replaced Antônio Carlos da Fonseca. Tales Cunha hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Besouro SS's Luís Paulo Toscano threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jailson Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of 4X4 booed when Besouro SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in 4X4's zone, Jailson Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Toscano came out of the goal and Jailson Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Zé Kobra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 4X4's Luís Paulo Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Luís Barros struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Luís Paulo Toscano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Besouro SS. In the 31st minute Dedê Dionísio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Paulo Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Besouro SS's Dedê Dionísio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Paulo Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Besouro SS's Ademar Pinho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After having played for 43 minutes, Ademar Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Besouro SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademar Pinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Paulo Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Besouro SS's Nuno Pontes was substituted for Dedê Dionísio. After a defensive mix-up in 4X4's zone, Gustavo Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Toscano came out of the goal and Gustavo Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82nd play minutes Zé Kobra shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Luís Paulo Toscano and just under the crossbar into goal. 86 minutes into the game, Besouro SS's Nuno Pontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Paulo Toscano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Jailson Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luís Paulo Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, 4X4's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Paranaense came free, but Luís Paulo Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Paulo Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Kobra went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Luís Paulo Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Kobra in the 97th minute of play.
