Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Antônio Carlos de Senna started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Kuhaku F.C defense, Víktor de Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frédson Brito. The Kuhaku F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frédson Brito should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antônio Carlos de Senna in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frédson Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Josué Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Kuhaku F.C's zone, Víktor de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Brito came out of the goal and Víktor de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, Atlético Peixoto's Frédson Brito threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antônio Carlos de Senna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ramiro Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Vinhas having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Carlos Eduardo Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kuhaku F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Peixoto the free kick. Carlos Eduardo Mello kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes Kuhaku F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto dos Santos. With a little luck, Kuhaku F.C's Frédson Brito got control of the ball when Víktor de Sena tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Kuhaku F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Frédson Brito was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlos Fernando Araújo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tales Custódio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Víktor de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frédson Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Kuhaku F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Freire. In the 57th minute, Carlos Fernando Araújo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Atlético Peixoto getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ronaldão Oliveira hit a great ball. Frédson Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víktor de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Agostinho Queirós hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes, Atlético Peixoto's Carlos Fernando Araújo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frédson Brito came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Peixoto reached it. Víktor de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th minute, Ronaldão Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frédson Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Víktor de Sena in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Atlético Peixoto getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Carlos Fernando Araújo hit a great ball. Tales Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Claudinho Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Frédson Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antônio Carlos de Senna in the 90th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Tales Custódio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Atlético Peixoto fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kuhaku F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
